Glass Bead Game

There are four versions of the game, each determined by what letter you type to start the game. Initially the screen shows a set of bouncing ball and there is little more to do than watch them bouncing around.

Typing t or T brings up the tile version of the 15 puzzle where you have to exchange the position of the read and blue beads using only horizontal or vertical moves.

Typing b or B brings up the a version of the 15 puzzle where you have to exchange the position of the read and blue beads using not only horizontal or vertical moves but diagonal as well. (The minimum number of moves is 17.)

Typing i or I returns to the initial screen of bouncing balls.

Typing r or R brings up the ring game which come with its own help window.

Typing any other character has the same effect as typing r or R.

Sea Game

There are three versions of the game: Sub Chase, Fish Feeding, and Mixed. You can select any of the them through the Options button.

Sub Chase is a version of an old game where the boat throws bombs (depth charges) trying to sink the submarines. Some times a sub senses a depth charge and reverses its course.

In Fish Feeding the boat throws food to the fish that are able to sense it and swim towards it.

In the Mixed version both fish and subs are presents and this makes the game more challenging because the fish eat the bombs intended for the submarines!
